"As featured in the State Library of Tasmania Cartography Collection"
Born out of a love for Australia's mountains, wild places and fantastic nature, the Tasmania map has been meticulously hand drawn with black and red inks over a 70 hour process.
These beautifully made prints are perfect for those who want a special art piece to celebrate this state, either for their own homes or as a gift for someone special. Please read the artist note below for the details of this particular map.

A NOTE FROM THE ARTIST OF THE TASMANIA MAP
The State of Tasmania map was an absolute pleasure to work on. The craggy mountain ranges that traverse the island, the rugged wilderness of the South West and the many bays, inlets and rivers all come together to capture the essence of one of Australia's true wild lands. The final design evokes a sense of adventure and nature, which fits in perfectly with what Tasmania is about.
Due to the scale of this map I was able to also draw more detail than is usually possible; almost all of Tassie's townships and a large number of named geographic locations are featured, including most mountain peaks over 1,000m, main river systems and National Parks. One of the unique elements of the design is the amount of islands and coastline detail, which include everything from King Island, Flinders Island, Bruny Island, Truwana and Schouten Island to the smaller groups such as the Maatsuyker Group, the Channel Islands and the Pascoe Group. There is also a small Tasmanian Devil hidden among the wilderness - see if you can spot it!
